Intro.

This is a comparison between stem splitter Steinberg flagship product Spectralayers Pro 11 version 11.0.10 , released 01.07.2024. And current a.l..models available to us at AI-Lyd.no The song used as a demo is the Norwegian singer Kurt Nilsen’ hit single «She’s So High». Both SL 11 and AI-Lyd is set at «Extreme Quality». None of the stems have been post proccessed

Conclusion

First off instrumental versions: The both sound similar. Good job Steinberg! Acapella. The vocals on SL 11 version is muddy with lots of bleed on it. AI-Lyd’s version have a much open and clean sound to it. No bleed there. Bass. A lot of bleed on th SL11 version, while’s the AI-Lyd version sound is firm and have consistency. Drums, Bleed and the under water effect on both versions, but not bad. Guitar. Similar results.
